The Energy Storage Ireland Council is the elected strategic oversight body of ESI. The Council sets and approves all major policy positions, engagement strategies, lobbying activities, governance arrangements and allocation of ESI resources/funds in line with ESI’s strategic objectives. Council members are elected for two-year terms. The Council also appoints the ESI Chairperson. The current members of the Council are as follows:
