Energy Storage Ireland is delighted to publish an information paper on the characteristics of Grid-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems and how safety is incorporated into their design, manufacture and operation. It is intended for use by policymakers, local communities, planning authorities, first responders and battery storage project developers.
The paper has been developed by ESI members with input from stakeholders such as the Health and Safety Authority and County Council Fire Officers.
